Here are detailed instructions for registering on the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT), selecting the 18th Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA) Conference 2025, and submitting papers:All full papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

  • On the CMT registration page, you will see a form divided into sections. Complete the fields as follows:

    A. Login Information

    • Email Address: Enter your active email address.
    • Password: Create a strong password. Use a secure password similar to this format: Shalomndumo@1994.
    • Confirm Password: Re-enter the same password for confirmation.

    B. Personal Information

    • First Name: Enter your first name.
    • Last Name: Enter your last name.
    • Affiliation: Enter the name of your organization, institution, or affiliation (e.g., "University of Health Information").
    • Country/Region: Select your country from the dropdown list.

    C. External Profile Information (Optional)

    • You may SKIP this section, which includes:
      • Google Scholar ID
      • Semantic Scholar ID
      • DBLP ID
      • ORCID ID
      • OpenReview ID
  • Once you’ve filled in all the required fields, click "Register" at the bottom of the page.

  1. Check your email inbox (or spam/junk folder) for a verification email from CMT.
  2. Click the link in the email to verify your email address.
  3. Once verified, return to the CMT platform and log in using your email address and the password you created.
  • After logging in, click on "All Conferences" in the top navigation menu.
  • In the search bar, type: "18th Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa Conference 2025" or "AHILA 2025".
  • Click on the conference name from the search results to open the conference page.
  • On the AHILA 2025 conference page, click "Author Console" in the top menu.

  • Click "Create New Submission" to open the paper submission form.

  • Fill out the submission form as follows:

    A. Paper Details

    • Title: Enter the title of your paper.
    • Abstract: Copy and paste your paper's abstract into the designated text box.

    B. Author Information

    • Add all co-authors' names and emails (if applicable). Ensure all co-authors have CMT accounts.

    C. Keywords

    • Enter 3–5 keywords related to your paper's topic.

    D. Topics

    • Select the most relevant topics from the provided list.
  • Upload your paper in PDF format:

    • Click the "Choose File" button.
    • Select the paper from your computer and upload it.
    • Ensure your paper complies with the conference's formatting and submission guidelines.
  • Review your submission details and click "Submit".

  • After submission, navigate back to the Author Console.
  • Verify that your paper appears under the “Submitted Papers” section with the status marked as Submitted.
  • If you need to make changes, you can update your submission before the deadline.
